Meet Our Team
Andrew was born into a family of accountants. His uncle and grandfather both worked at Coopers and Liebrand, one of the original “Big 8” accounting firms. (Coopers and Liebrand merged with PriceWaterhouse in 1998, forming PricewaterhouseCoopers.) In his youth, his first career choice was accountancy, but he changed his mind in college, deciding to pursue a career as a litigator, and ultimately graduating from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2004.
During and after law school, Andrew gained valuable work experience as a law clerk for a criminal judge, an assistant prosecutor, and at various law firms. He joined Bloomberg LP in 2010 to help expand its top-tier information products, which focused on legal, tax, accounting, and finance. Andrew’s interest in tax and accounting was reignited at Bloomberg, where he regularly educated clients on the company’s information services.
After Bloomberg, Andrew founded The Chamberlain Law Firm. The firm specializes in estate planning, probate, and elder law, and regularly handles “death tax” returns and income tax issues for trusts. Andrew also manages the firm’s finances. His upbringing, work experience, passion for small business ownership, and clear understanding of the links between estate and income tax planning inspired him to start The Chamberlain Accounting Firm.
Andrew is dedicated to continually improving the client experience at Chamberlain Accounting. He achieves this by regularly refining operations to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in all services. His main goal is to use technology to streamline processes and provide timely results for clients, while still taking a personal approach that recognizes each client’s unique financial situation and goals.
Some of Andrew’s academic and career highlights include: being a member of the National Eagle Scout Association; graduating from Rutgers College with Magna Cum Laude honors; earning a Master’s Degree in Education; obtaining a Juris Doctor degree; spending over 10 years with Bloomberg LP focusing on tax and accounting information services; and owning two small businesses.
